There are only 6,000 fast charging stations across the USA

Currently, there are only 6,000 fast charging stations across the USA, some with multiple chargers but others with only one or two according to MIT.
The Biden administration’s dream of having 500.000 charger plugs by 2030 may help ease the problem. But it’s about where those chargers go, not just how many there are.

For EVs to really take off in the US, it’s crucial we shorten the gaps between stations now common along America’s less populated expanses.
